LAMP Primer

What is LAMP? LAMP stands for Linux, Apache, MySql, and Php. There are many aids in helping you get test areas up for using Phip with MySql. LAMP is an acronym to describe this combination of open source products.

100's of open source applications exist and more are being created each day, these products allow you to quickly design websites or add functionality to your existing websites. These products include shopping carts, tracking tools, content management systems, blogging tools and many more.

If your active in the web community you'll want to learn these simple steps to get the latest web tools at your finger tips easily with little cost. The upcoming weeks I will post training guides on setting this up on a home server.
